One connection, all your translations.

tolingo connect.© connects your systems to our translation operation. An integration layer that we run ourselves takes in your content, reads the document type, language pair and delivery date from the details you supply, and creates the translation project automatically. The finished translation goes back the same way, with status updates and an audit trail.

The connection is configuration, not a development project: we set up an existing route for you, with no new build. You'll find technical details on the interface on the API for translations page, and ready-made connections to common systems under system integration.

A document passes through four stations: intake, assignment, translation and return. Translation memory, delivery date and the security layer are connected to the flow as satellites.

Which systems can be connected, and do we need developers?

The connection is independent of the system: shop and content systems, product databases, HR software or document management. For the customer portal, and for folder and mailbox, you need no developers. Only the API route is aimed at teams with their own development, with documentation and technical support from us. Ready-made connections to common systems are under system integration.

How quickly are we up and running?

The customer portal is set up within 2 hours, with no developer. The folder or mailbox connection stands in 3 days. For the API connection we agree the timeline in a kick-off, depending on your system and scope, on request.

Does a machine do the translating at tolingo connect?

That's your call. What's automatic is intake, assignment and return, not the language work. Per document type you choose the depth: specialist translation by people, on request under the four-eyes principle to ISO 17100, or machine translation with human post-editing to ISO 18587. Unchecked AI without your knowledge does not happen.

How secure is our data in transfer?

All transfers run SSL-encrypted, and processing takes place exclusively on European servers to ISO 27001. We run the integration layer on our own infrastructure, with no third-party automation services. Every handover is logged with a timestamp.

What does tolingo connect cost?

Setup depends on the connection route and is charged once. Ongoing translations cost from €0.05 per word with machine translation and post-editing, or from €0.12 per word as specialist translation. For recurring document types we agree fixed prices per document on request. The concrete quote follows the first call.

Do our translation memories and glossaries still work?

Yes. We take existing translation memories and glossaries into the connection. Every new translation is checked against them, repetitions get cheaper, and your terminology stays consistent across all systems and languages.
