We are tolingo
tolingo is a leading international translation agency. Since 2007, we have been translating texts into more than 220 language combinations, adapting them for the respective cultural environment and proofreading them down to the very last detail. This results in translations that are both eloquent and extremely precise.
We achieve all of this with proven quality. Because tolingo is one of the very few translation service providers to have earned quadruple ISO certification: for translation competence, quality management and information security. This is how our 50 employees in Hamburg, together with our 6,000 or so native speakers, ensure that the messages from our clients have global impact.

We are one of the very few professional translation agencies on the international market to have earned quadruple ISO certification – an achievement which we’re very proud of. In order to maintain our commitment to delivering the highest quality, we undergo annual audits and are certified in accordance with ISO standards.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of all of our internal and external employees to ensure high quality, tolingo has been able to make a name for itself in the competitive market of professional translation service providers. We’ve been named one of the top 100 language service providers in the world for 5 years running. The seal covers the last 5 years. tolingo also ranked among the Global Top 100 LSPs in 2016 and 2017.

The idea of a translation network is born.
First office (12 square metres in size) in Hamburg’s Sternschanze district.
2008
May
Move to office (40 square metres in size) in Hamburg’s Karolinenviertel district.

Pool of 1,000 professional specialist translators.
October
Move to office (200 square metres in size) in Hamburg’s Altona district.
2009

Pool of 2,500 professional specialist translators.
2010

Move to office (650 square metres in size) in Hamburg’s Altona district.

TÜV Süd certificate for DIN EN 15038.
2012

Website relaunch.
2015
March
Move to a new location within Hamburg-Altona.
