Text services and translation, under one roof
One contact for the whole project

In practice, projects rarely arrive one piece at a time. An annual report is translated and then edited. A board meeting is recorded, transcribed and translated for the international subsidiary. A campaign is written in German and has to land in three more markets. At tolingo that runs as one project, rather than leaving you to juggle several suppliers.

  • Translation with editing: You have a text translated and stylistically polished. Editing can be booked directly as a stage within specialist translation.
  • Transcription with translation: A foreign-language recording is transcribed and translated straight away. The whole job stays in-house with us.
  • Copywriting plus translation: A text is written in the source language and then adapted for other markets. Where it has to land just as well in each one, marketing translation (transcreation) is the route that fits.

Your project manager puts the right package together. You have one contact, one deadline and one invoice. We work out exactly what you need in a quick conversation up front.

What you get from us
Experience that shows in the result

The people working on your texts have trained for it. Editors and proofreaders who know the conventions and the pitfalls of their language. Transcribers who can handle specialist terms, dialects and multiple speakers. Copywriters who know how a claim lands in the target market. With sensitive content, your project stays with a dedicated team that already knows your terminology and your tone.

Behind that are proven processes: the four-eyes principle in editing, ISO certification (ISO 17100 for translation services, ISO 9001 for quality management) and confidential handling of your documents, with a non-disclosure agreement where necessary. How tolingo safeguards quality is set out under Quality & security.

Common questions
Short, specific answers

What's the difference between proofreading and editing?

Proofreading checks grammar, spelling and punctuation. Editing goes further and works on style, readability and tone. For a factual text, proofreading is often enough; a text for publication benefits from editing. Both run on the four-eyes principle. Details under Editing & proofreading.

Can I combine a text service with a translation?

Yes, and that's often how it goes. Translation with editing afterwards is standard, transcription with translation is common, and copywriting plus translation is possible. Your project manager assembles the package, and you have one contact and one invoice.

What happens to texts an AI has written?

An experienced person checks the text for content, tone, facts and linguistic quirks before you publish it. That is a human review of AI-written text. So you get the speed of the machine and keep control of the result.

Who works on my texts?

Native editors, proofreaders, transcribers and copywriters with subject expertise. On sensitive or recurring projects we work with dedicated teams that already know your terminology and your tone. More under Quality & security.

How quickly do I get my result?

That depends on the scope and the service. For short deadlines there are express options, and over the weekend where needed. We confirm the exact date with the quote, which usually reaches you within ~10 minutes (within business hours).
